Be part of a local club. Build skills. Support your community. Caton United Football Club is a long-standing community football club based in Caton. We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to help support matchdays, events, facilities and community activity.
Matchday & Event Support
Typical time: 30–90 minutes, Matchday setup and pack-down, Gate or attendance support, Refreshments or hospitality help, Basic stewarding or welcoming. Ideal for: first-time volunteers, students, people testing the waters
Facilities & Grounds Support
Typical time: occasional half-days towards Pitch preparation, General maintenance and tidying, Equipment checks and storage, Community clean-up days. Ideal for: practical learners, Duke of Edinburgh / service hours, people who prefer hands-on tasks
Admin, Media & Club Support
Flexible, remote-friendly where possible helping to promote the club via Social media photos or short updates, helping with website content or updates and promotions. Ideal for: students, people building digital or admin skills, volunteers with limited physical availability
Community & Engagement Roles
Project-based or short-term, Helping run open days or taster sessions, Supporting community events, Liaising with local groups or schools. Ideal for:people interested in community work, education, sport or social care pathways
